MIC Radiology Group

A Brief History

Formerly known as Medical Imaging Centre (MIC), MIC Radiology Group was founded by Dr Godfrey Chatora in 2015. The 2019 name change was a strategic rebranding to encompass a growing scope of services.

MIC Diagnostic, formerly Medical Imaging Centre, continues to provide a wide range of diagnostic imaging services, including X-rays, Ultrasound, fluoroscopy, mammography , MRI and CT scans.

MIC Interventional, formally the Interventional Radiology Clinic, specialises in minimally invasive procedures guided by imaging, offering a compelling alternative to traditional surgery.

MIC Women’s Imaging, founded in August 2022, offers specialised imaging services for women’s health after acquiring the country’s first 3D Mammogram unit.

In the years that followed MIC Radiology Group has experienced continued growth and diversification. The team, started with just 10 dedicated individuals, has now grown to over 80 skilled professionals across various departments. This expansion has necessitated further growth, leading to the establishment of three additional operating locations across Harare.
